Our story
Brivia is a family-owned soap company rooted in one simple belief: that nature's chemistry is worth trusting, not replacing.
We make small-batch bars using organic oils and butters, pure essential oils, and a cold process method that creates a simple, honest bar for everyday use.
Good to know
Brivia is made with organic oils and butters, essential oil scent, and a simple cold process method. No synthetic fragrance, no artificial color, no filler oils, and nothing unnecessary.
We use only natural, organic oils and butters as the foundation of every bar. These are carefully selected for their skin benefits. Our goal is to keep the formula as clean and simple as possible without adding anything that does not serve a real purpose.
When we say organic, we’re referring to the oils and butters in our soap. Organic ingredients are produced without GMOs and without synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides that are prohibited under organic standards.
Synthetic fragrance can include a long list of undisclosed aroma chemicals. We use essential oils instead, keeping the scent clean, subtle, and closer to nature.
We do not add artificial colors or unnecessary pigments. Color does not improve how soap performs on your skin. Most colorants are added for appearance only, so we leave them out to keep the formula as pure and simple as possible.
Cold process soap is made slowly, allowing oils, butters, and lye to transform into a real bar of soap. It’s a traditional method that creates a firm, balanced bar with a rich, creamy lather.
Each Brivia bar is cured for 5+ weeks. This helps create a harder, longer-lasting bar with a better feel in use.
With proper care, a bar should last several weeks. We have personally had bars last up to four weeks. Keeping it dry between uses will help extend its life.
We don’t build our formula around common filler oils like canola, sunflower, or soybean oil. Brivia is made with a focused blend of organic oils and butters chosen for feel, lather, and simplicity.
Absolutely not. We love and cherish animals at Brivia Soap Co.
