Brivia Soap Story
The Name Behind the Bar
Brivia is more than a brand. It's a blend of our children's names, Bradley and Olivia, because they are the reason behind everything we do. And the name carries that spirit forward: a sense of wonder for the fantastical, the beautiful, and the grounding magic of the natural world.
A belief that what we put on our bodies should come from the earth, not a lab. That simple, carefully chosen organic ingredients will always outperform synthetic formulas that require a PhD in chemistry to understand.
That spirit of seeking beauty, simplicity, and intention in everything we create is woven into every bar we make.
The Story Behind the Logo

Rooted and radiant, branches of the earth rising like outstretched arms, a crescent moon overhead. A dryad. A moon goddess. A quiet embodiment of Mother Earth herself. Wild and still at once. Ancient and alive.
In our home, elves, dwarves, fairies, and the kind of magic that lives in ancient forests aren't just bedtime stories — they are a reminder that wonder is worth holding onto. They remind us that the natural world is something sacred, something worth protecting, something worthy of wonder.
When it came time to put a face to Brivia, we didn't have to look far. This figure came from that same place of imagination and reverence, rooted in the earth, crowned by the moon, surrounded by the living branches of nature itself.
This is what we believe: that nature is not something to be replicated in a lab or mimicked with artificial shortcuts. It is something to be honored.
Those roots run deep into the same soil that gives us the organic oils and butters we put into every bar. The spirit behind every ingredient we choose, and every ingredient we leave out.
The Moment That Changed Everything
It started in the shower, of all places.
We picked up a bottle of body wash, something we'd used a hundred times without a second thought, and actually read the label. There, buried at the bottom of a long list of unpronounceable ingredients, were two words that stopped us cold: Yellow 5. Red 33.
In a white-colored body wash.
Why?
That small moment cracked something open. We started reading labels everywhere, and what we found unsettled us. Ingredients we couldn't pronounce. Chemicals we couldn't identify. And then we learned about endocrine disruptors, compounds that can quietly interfere with hormones and overall health, with children being especially vulnerable.
Our daughter came to mind immediately.
So did our son, who had been battling eczema and sensitive skin for years. We'd always wondered, quietly, whether the products we were putting on his skin were making things worse. Turns out, that quiet worry was worth listening to.
What We Set Out to Build
Brivia was born from that turning point. And we want to be clear about something: we don't believe all chemicals are bad. Nature itself is chemistry. The ingredients we love most, the cold pressed oils, the plant butters, the botanicals that have been used for centuries, are chemical compounds too.
It's the unnecessary synthetics, the artificial dyes that serve no purpose on your skin, the preservatives linked to hormone disruption, that we choose to leave out.
We wanted soap made the way it should be, with minimal, carefully chosen ingredients, nothing unnecessary, nothing we wouldn't feel confident putting on our own kids' skin.
Our mission hasn't changed since day one: to trust nature's chemistry rather than replace it. Cold pressed organic oils, raw organic butters, and plant based botanicals have nourished skin for thousands of years without a single synthetic shortcut.
Your skin knows how to work with these ingredients because it was designed to. We choose to honor that, not override it.
No artificial dyes, no synthetic fragrances, no unnecessary preservatives, no fillers your skin never asked for. Just honest, organic soap made the way it always should have been.
Because the things we put on our bodies matter. And so do the stories behind them.
